Learn To Meditate

By keeping a journal you know all your feelings and thoughts will be kept a secret.  You can lay everything out on the paper knowing you arn't being judged or criticized for feeling the way you do.

Sometimes it is good to write goals down for you to look back on and remember, but thing is make the goal a big one, then cut it into sections if little steps you can do to get to where you want to be.  Use alot of detail!

It can be a map of things you need to do if you have a bad memory (like me).  Leaving your self positive notes in your mirror can even be helpful.  Waking up in the morning and seeing that note "You are beautiful"  will make you smile and will start your day off on a good note.

Sharing your problems with someone you can confide in, can lessen the load you whatever you holding onto.  Sharing with someone like a friend or family member how you are stressed, angry, or sad...they well awlays try to help you.  Wether that's giving you advice or help give some new insight to the situation.  They may have ideas to help fix your situation that you would of never thought of, or they could push you in the right direction.

Do you have a hobby?  Something you love to do on your spare time.  I bring this up because sometimes it can be an expressional art.  Some people take anger out on music.  (loud obnoxious sounds, or it even soothes)

Some people may run, or take a hike, go fishing, watch tv, take photos, or writing poems.  Everyone is good at something. Find what you're good at, don't be afraid to try and paint, there is no right or wrong.

You need a hobby that distracts you only temporarily so you don't sit at home and dwell on it, which gets you no where.   You need to release that stress to clear your mind to think of how to end whatever is bugging you.

When some people think of meditation they think of monks.  No you don't have to sit like that and hum.  Meditation is there to let you focus on your breathing, to think of nothing negative, and only positive.

Lay on your bed, close the door and shut off your tv.  Close your eyes and just think of positive things and shut out the negative.  Even if you have to think of a calm deserted lake that looks as if it's a mirror because it's so undisturbed to feel relaxed.

Slow your breathing be totally still, and do this for about 10 minutes.  When you wake from meditation you will feel great.
